Many of you will recall - either firsthand or through retro-television - Schoolhouse Rock from the 70’s. One clip, “Elementary, My Dear”, taught kids how to count by two’s. Were its creators Auburn fans? Did they have a premonition of 2007 and Auburn extending its winning streak over UAT to 6? Check out the clip at about the 2:25 mark.
Dead Horse, Beaten
December 7, 2007 by auburniteThe Opelika-Auburn News ran this story this week about the Bromberg’s ad. The paper reports:
… [Frank Bromberg] admits it was more personal than the Alabama ad … Bromberg said he could see how people found it more offensive.
Good job. I wonder how long it took him to come to that conclusion, and did he do so before or after publication?

November 28, 2007 by auburniteHere’s a good read on The War Eagle Reader about the burning of Toomer’s Corner.
And who has trouble with language arts?
November 28, 2007 by auburnite“Cody”, a Bama blogger at Tipsy Tiders, has some coverage of the fire that was set at Toomer’s Corner early Sunday Monday after the 2007 Iron Bowl. He was good - if he had stopped with the photo dated “11/25/2007″. But he decided to go on and link to me, claiming I have more photos of the fire.
Follow the link and you’ll note (even if he didn’t) that the blog entry with the fire photos was posted in August of this year. The photos were taken in 2003.
I’ll skip the all-too-easy joke about Cody’s challenge when it comes to reading comprehension.
